Fun Fall Festivals

It’s that time of year to get out to all the Fun Fall Festivals and smell everything pumpkin spice. This is my favorite time of the year to watch and photograph the colorful changing of the leaves and go hiking. Visit my blog on great places to see fall foliage.

For kids, it’s time for pumpkin picking, corn mazes, hayrides, and Trick or Treating. Well, those are my favorites for me too.

I have been to many of the fall festivals listed and they are great for all ages to visit. Before visiting the following, be sure to check their website. Some events require tickets to be purchased before entry due to limiting the space of people attending. Check prices, weekdays, and weekend prices may be different. Wear comfortable shoes. Some events have picnic areas where you are allowed to bring your own food.

A few festivals are being held from September to the early part of November. During this time of year, it’s great to get out in nature and go hiking and see the beautiful Fall Foliage. Visit your local farms to support and enjoy the festivals that they have.

I don’t know who enjoyed the festival more, me or the kids. We had a great time at the Von Thun Farms located at 438 NJ-57, Washington, NJ 07882. I purchased tickets online. They had so many activities and it was also a great place to take beautiful fall photos.

We spent over 2 hours on the farm. From going through the corn maze, picking apples, shooting corn, and so much more. The kids were tired after we left and before the season ends we will return again.
